Rainforest Guides?

Post by Kate Franklin »

Can anyone recommend a reliable and interesting guide for rainforest walks in Tobago?

We'll be a party of 4 adults aged 30-60ish. We enjoy natural history, wildlife, birds and hearing about life in Tobago in general!

many thanks, Kate

Hi Kate

Check out the various posts in this sub-forum for other views and opinions. You could just drive up to the Main Ridge forest reserve and hire a guide there (don't worry, they'll find you), but you're taking pot luck and could end up with a good one or a bad one. For a good balance of informative guiding and safe, comfortable driving (in short supply in Tobago), I would personally recommend Yes Tourism. You can see full details of their tours at http://www.yes-tourism.com/tours.htm

I recommend Junior who lives in Bloody Bay and is well-known Island wide and easy to find.

An on-time honest friendly and knowledgeable individual Junior epitomises the best of Tobago.
