We stayed at Sherwood Park Apartments from January 3rd to 7th and can highly recommend it to other travelers.

We were in Tobago for almost three weeks for our destination wedding/honeymoon. We wanted to take in as much of the island as we could so we started our trip with a stay here.

Before arriving we spoke with Nigel, the manager who was able to arrange an early check in for us and met us at the airport. He was very friendly and informative, stopping at the grocery store on the way to the apartments.

Our check-in was very informal and welcoming, we were basically just shown to our room and told to relax. We found the room to be just what we expected and just like the hotel's website shows it. Great value and had everything we needed. We loved being surrounded by the lush landscape, relaxing by the private and quiet swimming pool and enjoying dinner on our patio cooled by the tropical breezes coming off the Atlantic coast.

There were many birds and at night we saw an owl, perhaps checking out the many frogs at the foot of the gardens that come out when the sun goes down.

All the staff were friendly and approachable and the property is very secure.

Although it is not right on the beach, Nigel offers two beach runs, one to Pigeon Point beach and the other to Mt. Irvine beach for a very nominal fee. We took advantage of both and had some perfect days relaxing on the beach and snorkelling too! Another day we took a taxi to Store Bay and Coco Reef, about a 15 minute ride from Sherwood Park. We never found the location to be too remote and enjoyed coming back to our hideaway after our excursions.

We would certainly go back, like everywhere we stayed in Tobago, the value, setting and staff made Sherwood Park Apartments a truly wonderful experience.
