Rain forest guide

Post by Joanne Green »

We went on a rain-forest walk with Kelly, who is the nephew of King David. He is a thoroughly delightful young man who, when he was young, would run off to the forest at every opportunity. He has an intimate knowledge of the plants and birds, and can imitate many birds, causing them to call back! We didn't go to Gilpin Trace, but rather to Kelly's own private bit of rain forest near Englishman's Bay. He has hacked out a wonderful trail & we had it all to ourselves!
