Being Home!!

Post by E Jones »

Having just returned from a 2 week holiday in Tobago, i can honestly say I have caught the much talked about Tobago bug! The island is the most gorgeous place imaginable & the people are very friendly & missed dearly already! Coming back to 'sunny' Briatin is such a downfall after we had such an amazing time with so many good memories!! Cant wait until our next visit!! XX

Being Home!!

Post by Stuart Martin »

Hi E,

The hoilday blues are very depressing, but the memories keep you going!!! As your just back I'd love to get some information off you. My husband and I are going out to Tobago in 5 weeks for our 1st wedding anniversary and would love to do some of the amazing day trips there are available. Are there any you would recommend? We would love to do something special and even though we have been doing a lot of research on the net we just can't decide. I would love to hear from someone that has seen and experienced the island first hand!!!

In anticipation

Louise :)

Hi Louise, feeling very jealous of you right now as Tobago is such an amazing place & i can guarantee you'll have a good time, what ever you choose to do!! A few of us spent our 2 weeks in Castara a pretty un-touristy village, so we spent a lot of our time with the locals, which I was told was the best way to spend time there, experiencing their way of life! We went 2 Sunday School in Bucco, which is a street party held every week, a great way to get a feel of the extravegant lifestyle! There are a load of people who do island tours, so this wont be hard to find, but definately try 2 do both an island & rainforest tour, also try to go fishing with a local fisherman, this is great fun!! I hope you have a great time & enjoy yourselves thoroughly, the people are particularly friendly so dont hesitate to ask anyone for advise!! Take Care xxx
