When we first decided that we wanted to get married in Tobago, we knew that we were going to need a lot of help to get organized and make our ideas come to life. Even though we had a simple wedding in mind--just the two of us, nothing elaborate, we knew that there would be more to making this all happen than meets the eye. So, we found the Tobago Weddings website and sent an inquisitive email to Marie Dilworth. And from then on it was smooth sailing. Marie is an angel. In moments of stress or confusion, a quick reply from her was like a beautiful song! She is an expert, giving us options and really tailoring what we wanted for a truly individual and unforgettable experience. Marie took the time to get to know us, and see us together. She showed us nearby options of places we could have the ceremony, and arranged for us to meet with the minister who was to marry us. Marie also helped us navigate through the paperwork of applying for the license (as well as finding the building itself!) and found a photo package that was just right for us. She knows what she is doing in this business.
I won’t say that I put my trust in others lightly, especially with something as important and life-changing as a wedding, but I will say that I never felt a moments doubt as to whether I was in good hands with Marie. I never had to worry about a thing. Marie knows what she is doing, and she does it incredibly well. She is a dear, kind, thoughtful and understanding woman, and it is inconceivable to me that this experience, this sacred union, could have happened without her. If you have any doubts, we will tell you in all honesty that this was certainly not a cookie-cutter experience; this was personal from the moment of her first email reply to our last hug good-bye.
