We stayed at the Store Bay Resort on June 23/24, 2007. The rate was $TT380 per night (around $50CAD) so we weren't expecting the Hilton. The hotel is in a very convenient location, less than 5 minute walk from the airport and Store Bay Beach, ample parking, private and clean pool area, nice sun deck on the upper level and very amicable staff who allowed us to check in at 10am and check out at 2pm. We felt quite secure at this establishment.

Ours was a self catering room (205) with fridge, stove, table and chairs, etc. and a separate bedroom area with a small but comfortable double bed, nice cold A/C, and cable TV. The bathroom was quite shabby but the towels were clean and the shower produced a good supply of hot water. We didn’t use the small private deck on the one side of our room because the larger sun deck was on the other side with nicer chairs and even a double swinging chair.

Be advised that if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay – this is not the place. But, if you’re into ‘liming’ with the locals until 2 am on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll enjoy yourself here. Lot's of eateries in the immediate vacinity so you won't go hungry.

Basically - no frills but good value for the cost.
