First as the age creeps up on one,one gets (or feels) younger.I don't have a hangover because I drink responsibly :^o
Second ...give up work never plan to work or gallivant until I drop.

Amen to that, David - and a belated Happy Birthday!

Mr Tallet??? You've not answered!! Perhaps next time there's any sighting of your underpants, we can check to see if there's an age in there!!! Come on now.... enquiring minds want to know!!

Noe... stick with the humour - you do it so well!! ;)

Hi there,

Lisa, hope to see you around and will try to find you when I'm there.

Noe, I have no clue which one will carry me up the steps but I guess a little gallivanting will do (Yeah, I learned new word!!)
I will let you know when I'm back home. By the way, I'm staying three weeks and don't want to carry too much luggage. Do you think I should use the washing machine at Hummingbird Heaven??

All the best to all of you.

Paul, be brave! How old are you really?

Ok ...

I hope to live to the age of 85 when my ashes will be scattered over Lovers Bay and I will sit and have a chuckle with Mother Nature.

So ... should that prove to be the case ... and assuming that I spend an average of 14 nights in Tobago every year for the rest of my life ... I will have the privilege of seeing 560 of those outrageously beautiful sunsets.

Calculators at the ready?

Work it out

Hm..
560 divided by 14 makes 40. 85minus 40- got it! You had to make us work for it, didn't you, you young whipper-snapper Paul!
Gisela,
By the powers invested in me I command you to gallivant as much as possible.
Yes, do use the washing machine, but make sure you let it know that you're the boss and don't turn your back on it!

Sandra,
I don't mean that you're too old for me to write a sexy book, I mean I just can't do it! I have read some racey stuff, but writing it, that's a different thing altogether.
I remember my mum's disapproval when she found me reading something that was just a little naughty...
She's gone now but I can imagine what she would say if she caught me writing anything like that.. [-X

Dear Pete
So glad I did not win.

Carol
You had a mother who was shockable - well that must be a first considering the times in which they grew up. My Mum was totally unshockable - is that a word - no matter. We would share books, ideas, laughter and never be embarassed, always thought it was quite healthy to be honest.

Gill
Hope you noted our number - let me know where you will be and post a contact.

David
Glad you suffered no hangover - either the liver has given up or .......

Paul,
Hooray! I never win prizes usually. Hm, wonder if I can sell them on Ebay?

Sandra,
My mum had a small -country-village-tee-total-chapel-going- victorian-type upbringing, and was innocent about the ways of the world like you wouldn't believe. If she heard a blue joke the chances are she would not be offended as she wouldn't understand it. I was very surprised once when she sent me a joke birthday card which was quite rude but she hadn't realised that it was rude until I painstakingly explained it to her. Then she was most embarrased and stuck to flowers after that. My children called her "The Old Tart", which she loved! I had thought about putting that on her headstone, but thought better of it.

Guess all the talk about age and being old has worn all of us out as there hasn't been a waffle for a couple of days

I'll try to rejuvenate things by mentioning that Spring will finally arrive tomorrow =D> Temperature reached the mid 70's (23-24c) on Monday and Tuesday 8) but back down to a high of 41 (5c) today  Things are starting to turn green and some stuff is starting to sprout but we still have a few weeks to go before it will start to get nice.

Noticed that there is a nice piece of property for sale over on your side http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29757970/ and I was wondering if anybody in the waffle was planning on putting in a bid :?:

Looks jolly nice Bill old chap!
I might put in a bid. It's in Hampshire, so Tony could get the ferry across the water and pop in for tea and crumpets. I've found a few links to it. Here's a good one: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... yours.html
How about you buying it young Bill? I'm sure you could find some loose coins down the back of the sofa...

I have enough trouble coping with I house and garden, I flat no garden. A village equals total nightmare. Anyway, would have to be very responsible - I hate that word, just does not suit me. That, and the fact the back of my sofa would probably reveal cat hair and very little else. When son lived here often found the odd pound or two but with that also came the pizza crust, edge of naan bread and G - string - suddenly I love cat hair.
