CHRISTMAS

Post by John Hill »

Hi Steve first and foremost may I thank you for this Great Web Site also for your time and efforts in making it all work.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure chatting with you and your lovely lady Jill over a Stag or three sometime in January / February in the rain in Tobago. Still I will just stay in good old UK and keep putting the lights out.

Still it’s that time of the year when a young mans fancy turns to CHRISTMAS may I take the opportunity to wish you, Jill and all the board members a

VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS

A lovely idea, John - until I saw the bit about "in the rain". Is that your way of getting out of a round of drinks? We won't be able to get much down if we're having to wait for rain in January or February.

Yes, a young man's thoughts may turn to Christmas, but an old man's thoughts turn to Tobago. Nevertheless, I echo your sentiments and wish all our readers Seasons Tidings and all the very best for the New Year. I particularly extend these greetings to the Canadian lady who wrote a year ago, saying that the site would never be popular because it was "judgemental", and the guy from New York who wrote asking for details of Tobago's subway.

Seasons Greetings from Tobago

Post by Glyn Kirpalani »

Dear all

On behalf of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, as their unelected, unofficial and pompous spokesman, I should like to wish all fellow forum-ites and the ed a very nice xmas and even better 2004.

Hope to meet up with more of you next year, mine's a carib.

Best wishes
Glyn (and Caroline, baby Ewan and overgrown puppy Sausage xx)
