Phone Questions

We just found out that our phone will not work internationally. We really do not plan on using one, but if we need to call a taxi at the end of the day after a long walkabout we may need one, or if I do something stupid and my wife needs to call for assistance. Are there places to buy a local cheap throw away phone. We will be landing in TAB after dark and are staying in Castara. Any thoughts

the cheapest cell-phones available in Tobago cost around $100 to $150tt including SIM card. They're places to buy phones in Scarborough and in the south of the island.

Some guest houses and apartments offer inexpensive cell phones. Ask your host first as they can get the best deal.
