The accommodation is probably the best in Castara. Kurt and Ivy do a remarkable job in keeping the apartments clean, fresh linen twice a week, garden impressive, watching the beautiful hummingbirds and others feeding. Kurt keeps them well fed.
Our apartment was Motmot, spacious with all your needs met.
Our first 2 weeks were wonderful, guests came and left, no problems. Unfortunately we cannot say the same for our last 2 weeks. A guest, who was quite well known to Kurt arrived and was in the apartment above, with a nice large balcony. The quest was meeting up with you her sister/husband from Australia plus later, brother /wife from Trinidad. From day 1 we had 3 people constantly on Skype to their families, we know about their families then our own. Their constant chatter immediately outside our apartment was intrusive and inconsiderate. All they needed to do was use the sisters balcony, which was above us. Phone calls are between two persons, not everyone. Privacy for all quests should have been expected. From 7am in the morning!! Not what we expected, nor should it have been allowed.
A restful holiday turned into a stressful one.
