During my medical elevtive in Tobago, I lived in Shirma flats. I couldn't have chosen better accommodation!
Shirma and her family made sure we were comfortable at all times and that we had everything we needed. The flats were spacious and fully equipped. Every morning we were taken to the hospital by Clifford.
On Sundays, Shirma cooked a delicious lunch for all the students.
Most of the international students live with Shirma - which made it super easy to make new friends and explore the island together.
Shirma helped us organise trips and tours, organised weekly trips to the supermarket and much, much more.
I had a wonderful time in Tobago. Shirma and her family were a key part in making me feel at home and safe from the very beginning.
