I can't believe you haven't had a response and/or recompense - keep at em. They responded so quickly to us - is this because we're in England and you are in Ireland I ask??? Still the rules are the same for the EU.

We've had letter back from AUC (Air Transport Users Council) - basically they are swamped with requests for help but will get back to us soonish. Excel have written a placebo letter - do you want me to send you a copy - if so let me know via private email but it came from Lesley Cullen, Customer Relations Executive, but would you believe it ........ no telephone number on the headed paper!!!

I still think we're due more compensation than we had but pressure of work etc has meant that I haven't been as terrier like as usual in pursuing this.

How's the fishing?

Success Did what I should have done and contacted Golden Carribean customer service this morning, she certainley rattled Meridian Travels cage because we have had a flurry of apologetic emails from them> looks like the cheque has gone missing in the post. So everthing seems to be OK now.

Thanks for the offer but its OK as I said we nearly got what I reckoned we were due, or will hopefully, although that was for Premiun; First Class would be a different matter.

No fishing yet too busy gardening next fishing trip end of May cant wait
