Ken, have you ever been outside the UK anyway? I have been to different parts of the world, and have yet to visit a country outside the EU where I don't need to fill in an immigration form. And, is it really such a bother to fill in a little form. Are these few minutes enough to ruin your entire holiday? Lighten up!

O yes... small airports have limited facilities. What is strange in that?

I wonder what Mr Dimdore would been writing if he went to Isarel with me, it happend some years ago, but I really don´t think the security is lower now.

An extra security check point before the check-in desk, 3 securities did ask same question, one by one, and made a check between themself betweeen each question-rond.

They empty my back-pack and use x-ray, after that I could make my check-in, but one security was by my side all the time.

After the check-in I meet the normally x-ray, my back-back went in-out several times and finally I was allowed to go to the gate.

Before boarding the aircraft everyone must pick his/hers luggage outside the aircraft, all unknown luggage wil be destroied at once, normally rutine for Israel.

The time from the first extra security until I was on the aircraft, about 3,5 hours.

Tobago immigration is nice and friendly, the lines aren´t bad eighter, the waiting lounge is small but it´s not exactly Heathrow eighter. But some peoples just seems to look for things so they can complain. Why not stay at home next time Mr Dimpole?

Hello Ronald

I think we can all imagine what Mr Dimple's fete would have been if he had gone to Israel with you!!! Probably locked up somewhere after ranting like a looney!!

I think it's quite amusing that this topic has raised it's head again!!! It certainly created loads of amusement on rainy nights when it was first posted, and we don't seem to have heard from him since, which is a shame, cos it's a free country and we could all do with a laff now that the nights are drawing in...!

I think that the security levels that are in place, whatever country you travel to, are to be expected in todays volatile environment. It's what we should all expect. If it takes 3 hours to go through security - then so be it.

I'm sure Mr Drabdale would not be able to put up with such an 'inconvenience' so maybe he should just stick to Blackpool in the future (sorry if anyone comes from Blackpool, but my point is NO AIR TRAVEL/IMMIGRATION palaver to contend with if you are easily angered/frustrated!!!)
