Bus Schedule on Sundays

Post by Kevin Dwarte »

Does anyone know where I can get a schedule of bus times for Sunday? We are arriving around 8:00am at Crown Point and wish to go to C'ville that morning. Is there a website (he asks, perhaps foolishly) with this information? I vaguely recall limited service on Sundays.

Failing that, can anyone assist in providing the location in Scarborough to catch route taxis to C'ville?

Many thanks...

........Kevin

don't know about the schedule, except that it is indeed limited on sundays.
at the moment the bus between castara and scarborough does operate with no plan, due to the big road constructuon. they just go back and forth and noone knows when... so a littlre thing can throuw everything off.

for the point in scarborough to catch a taxi I have to admit I don't know euther. it seems to change all the time and I never use it. maybe david can tell, I hear he had a (horror)trip the other day....

enjoy your holiday

You can get a taxi back to Castara at the northend rank(closest to up town). The fare is TT$100,that is the official rate ----don't pay anymore. As for busses on Sunday-they come or they don't-hitch a lift!
I don't know why you would want go to S"bro'on Sunday, everything is closed.

Just back from Tobago and while we were there the outlets in Crown Point & Scarborough ran out of bus tickets the weekend of the 20th with none due in until Monday morning. People couldn't buy tickets and the bus drvers wouldn't let them on without so the buses were running half empty and people were all in a dither because they couldn't get to where they needed to be.

In other words I would strongly recommend you make alternate plans.

Good Luck,

Bill
