Lauri, there are plenty of places in Castara to go for a drink and a chat(called limin')most people will not object to being photographed/filmed,but ask first, because some true Rastafarians do not like images.
I have been going to Castara for a number of years and have never met anybody who is threatening, similarly elswhere on the island.
When you get to Castara there are lots of things to see and do and the Castarians will b every pleased to help you.
Enjoy your experiance of meeting the most proud and friendly people.

Hi Lauri

On the menu bar above, click Odds & Sods / Practicalities / Electricity and all will be revealed.

Hi Lauri

I bought an adapter here in Sweden wich takes all kinds of plugs, converted to the type we have, I´m sure that you will find one.
If you forget the adapter, some electric shops in Tobago does sell adapters US-European.

Reading Odds & Sods, don´t miss the important line, Tobago using 60Hz not 50 Hz. Some electric units from Europe can take both 110/230VAC 50/60Hz, but not all of them.
