Hi, Paula/Steve, and all you knowledgable Tobagonian visitors, can you tell me if it is worth the paying the 70 pounds that Monarch charge for extra leg room? And how much extra do you get?
Also if we dont opt for this and get a choice of seat when we get on where is the best place to sit?
many thanks,Elly

Hi Elly

I imagine you are referring to the bulkhead seats, as opposed to the extra legroom you get as standard in the premium economy seating. As far as I know, these 'bulkhead' seats are the very first row in each of the two (2) main cabin sections and lie adjacent to the fire exits. To be honest I haven't flown on the current Monarch service (although am now booked to fly to Tobago with them next February) so can't comment from personal experience. Judging by the old Monarch/Excel services, they gave a good bit of extra legroom but the only problem was that you were slap bang in front of the main video screen if you were in the central isle of 4 seats, or could hardly see it if you were in the window seats. Hopefully somebody who has flown on the current service can advise better than me.
