Hi Gisela
That was probably my fault, so I'll explain just a little, though it has nothing to do with Carol's pictures :)
Cornwall is the part of the UK which extends furthest southwest into the Atlantic, and is where both David Watkins and I come from. A common term for a Cornishman, particularly when he is away from home, is "Cousin Jack". You will see that David, by special favour of Mr Wooler, has the Cornish flag, the cross of St Piran, on his postings.

Cornwall is a wonderful county, but with entirely different attractions to those of Tobago :)

For the record, I AM an Essex Girl. Granted, I don't see myself as the stereotypical one, although I do have some seriously blonde moments occasionally!

Lisa.

I give this dive a 5.99 with a difficulty factor of 4.87611.
David and Jonathan, I do hope you are not going to continue this conversation in your secret Cornish code....

Hi all British, American and all the other Tobagomaniacs

Thank you Steph!

Thank you Jane, maybe my English is not too bad and I have a very big dictionary  But for this special discussion you've got me there

Thanks Jonathan for explaining this to me. I guess its just like Germany where different parts of the land grow different people (like the Bavarians)

Just hoping the item goes back to the real topic

Lisa, even dark haired Germans have their blonde moments. I had a couple of since I startet reading this ](*,)

Cheers

Ok,I shall try and explain.Kernowek is a languge close to Breton and Welsh.Onen Al is the motto for Cornwall(Kernow) and basically means all for one.An Gof is a pseudo army that wants to free Cornwall from English immigrants(ie second home owners etc). They did get a little publicity by threatening to destroy Stein's businesses.
Right so no more on this subject, please?
David
