Beach/Pool towels

I wonder if anyone can tell me whether beach/pool towels are complimentary or provided at the hotel. They are such a bulk to put in the suitcase and other All Inclusive hotels we've stopped in recently have provided them daily ie we've collected them from a hut near the pool area and taken them back at the end of the day. It would be great to have that bit extra room in the suitcase for other things.

Thanks in advance for any replies - just over 5 weeks to go - can't wait!

Towels are indeed complimentary at the Coco Reef. Clean towels are put into your room each evening. There were 4 of staying in one room so they left us four towels however I didn't find that the 4 were enough so I spoke to the maid and she left us more. If during the day you want to change/get more towels, you either go to reception or see a maid and they will sort this out.

Have a fantastic time at the Coco Reef, I am so jealous.....................

What about beach towels (I assume from your posting you are referring to room towels?)

We are heading off to Coco Reef on Sat 21st and leaving the beach towels out of the case would be great !

Ta for replying. Yes, I also wondered whether Kirsten was referring to the usual room bath and hand towels - I would expect those to be provided anyway and wouldn't take them out of the room for use around the pool or beach.

If anyone can confirm that the beach towels are supplied that would be really useful - especially if Martin is going this weekend and is organising his case. Will you come back on the forum when you get back Martin and let us know what you thought of it all? It would be great to hear from someone who has only just been especially since I will be on the verge of going myself by then.

When i was at Coco Reef 2 years ago beach towels were supplied daily to your room. I would imagine that they still do this.

I can definitely confirm that, as well as bath towels (white), beach towels (peach/apricot) are provided in your room. The latter are larger than the former, and fluffier, so I used those at bath time as well. If you ask the maid nicely, she will provide you with more than the 1 per person that is allocated. (I built up a supply of around 6 spares, so that when it rained I could dry my lounger with one, and still have some dry ones to lie on ...!)

Hi Miranda - thanks for confirming that. In the middle of packing right now, so will leave those beach towels out!
