Staying at Shirma’s for 4 weeks during our medical elective was perfect! Shirma and her whole family are very welcoming and ensure you have everything you need to feel at home and experience Tobago properly! They take you to the hospital every morning, a weekly grocery shop, airport transfer and Shirma will arrange many excursions for you. The apartments are clean, well equipped and have great air conditioning. There is a beach club and pool nearby which medical students are allowed to use. Shirma cooks a fantastic lunch for students on a Sunday - the best food we had in Tobago! Shirma’s is where you must stay as a medical student visiting Tobago! We loved it!
