Sport/Rugby on Tobagan TV?

Post by EllieMarlow »

Please help me placate a frantic rugby union fan. We've booked the honeymoon and we're off in October. Now, he's suddenly realised it clashes with the world cup. I know that football is very popular on the island, but is it likely that the rugby will be shown, even if it's on satellite in the hotel room!?
If anyone can help i'd be really grateful. While we're on the subject, do any of the big Premiership games get shown on TV?
Cheers,
Ellie

Hello Ellie

You might get highlights, but I doubt that he'll see the whole match. Most hotels have cable/satellite TV but it's mainly American channels, although I did get BBC World News in one place. Best bet is to email the hotel you're staying at and ask because I think they all get different channel packages, so it will vary from place to place.
