We stayed with Judy, Ivonne and their son at Bijou de Caraibes for two weeks at the beginning of 2008 and absolutely loved it. The place itself provided everything one could hope for: beautiful gardens, a clean pool, daily maid service, comfortable rooms and a good location. It was only a twenty minute walk through a golf course to three stunning, quiet beaches (Grange was the best for the mornings and Mt. Irvine was best for the afternoons because of sun location) and close enough to Bucoo to stumble home from Sunday School. However, the aspect that made this trip truly amazing was our wonderful host Judy along with her charming family. Judy constantly went out of the way for us: taking us to the grocery store, the bank, sometimes dropping us at the beach, inviting us out for drinks, entertaining us with her hilarious stories, offering endless advice about where to go, how to do it and who to do it with. Judy really made us feel like family and such personal interest in our vacation truly made the difference. She even took it upon hersef to find Lindsay's earring that she lost on the road at the end of a late night BBQ at Bijou! How she found it in the dark is beyond us! Judy and her family run an excellent guesthouse that should be a model for guesthouses everywhere. Thanks so much Judy!!!!
