Anyone have experience getting a visa waiver on your way into Trinidad/Tobago? We're coming from the US, but my dad is an Australian citizen, and we might not have time for him to get his visa from Washington, and I read about the possiblity of getting a waiver, but he arrives into Trinidad at 8:30 at night, on his way to his connecting flight to Tobago, and I'm worried that who ever provides waivers might not be on duty that time of night. He's 72, so the worst thing is he gets stuck in Trinidad over night or even worse yet, turned away. My lonely planet book also says it could cost a lot - anywhere from 400TT to 2000TT, 400 not so bad, but 2000 is a lot! Help?
