Camouflage clothing

Post by AshleyMills »

Hi,

I read that camouflage clothing is illegal.

Does this apply to plain green "combat trousers"? Or is it specifically camouflage stuff which is not allowed?

What about wearing "combat boots" for going on hikes and things? Are they also banned?

Thanks

Ashley

Hi Ashley

The ban is essentially on any clothing that could result in the wearer being mistaken for military personnel. Boots are hardly likely to give the wrong impression, so no problem! :)

Ashley,

khaki or green "combat" trousers are not a problem, neither are boots of any kind.
Many people wear those items at work.
The ban is only on camouflage military uniforms.

Hi,

I've got plenty of shorts but was worried about having to buy new evening/jungle wear. Now I will bring my plain green "combats" instead.

Thanks

Ashley
