Situated next to Heavenly Bay (the smaller of Castara's two beaches), our apartments offer you an escape to paradise.
Housed in a 3-storey building the apartments have a lounge/dining area, kitchen, bedroom and large shower room and each apartment has a two queen size beds with mosquito net, fitted air-conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette with oven, fridge, small freezer a dining table and a private balcony overlooking the beach and ocean.We provide full bed linen and bathroom towels for you, and your apartment will be cleaned twice a week.Wireless internet connection is available, and our rooms have standard American electrical-points.
Locals and tourists share the restaurants, cafes and bars, and there are many shops in the village selling basic groceries and fresh fruit and vegetables for those wishing to cater for themselves. The beaches are rarely busy, and there are opportunities to book rainforest tours or boat trips right on your doorstep.
Castara is no more than a one-hour drive from the airport and once you're here, there's no need to leave!

Although the location is spectacular, a stones throw from Little Bay in Castara, the service was non-existant. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us, the key that was left in the apartment didn't fit the room, so we couldn't go anywhere until "Sparkle" came to give us the right one. There was no toilet paper (glad we noticed while she was there), no hot water and no internet. She did eventually hook it up for us. We were the only guests in the place. The "on-site baking oven" was not working, so no breakfast. The beachfront restaurant, next door was closed. There was no one on-site to answer our requests, we had to call and wait for her which could take hours if she came at all. I know it wasn't busy season, but there was literally one small diner in the town where one could get a meal and she had 3 items on the menu, so after 2 days, that also became an issue. On a positive note, the bay had decent snorkelling and a variety of birds would come to our balcony rail in the morning.

The rooms are very large. The kitchen was clean. Fiona lifes in UK, but we could talk with her in the late evening, to organize our late arrive. Room cleaning could be a little bit better. Veranda was great, but you see everytime your neighbors. The place was fantastic.
