Kariwak Village

Post by Bridget Gander »

I have praised Kariwak Village before and having recently returned from Tobago, I can stiil recommend it for both lunch or dinner. The food is of excellent quality and the flavours are usually enhanced with herbs grown in the hotel garden. Every time I have eaten there in the evening the owner has come over to chat. Her staff are well trained and fautless.

Cynthia runs a great healthy kitchen and serves it in an original, almost homey ambience. And the girls in her staff are the greatest. Stay there a couple of days and you all will turn family!

The salad with grilled shrimps was a favourite. Her chocolate cake is adddictive. And Marions Bloody Mary (spicey!) is a winner.

Agreed - we spent several hours there over lunch on Saturday waiting for our flight home, and were charmed. The vegetarian Saturday soup was great!
