Due to availability of a stay of 9 nights (why is it only BA and BWIA can do this) Can anyone tell me if the extra money paid is worth it for this seat? I am also toying with going outbound economy and inbound club, any thoughts? The journey to the caribbean is a nightmare so just want to try and reduce stress on the overnight flight back. Another question, is the flight via Antigua both ways, and if so how long is the flight in total?

I'm just about to book for June this year and want to make sure I don't regret the flight issue, any comments appreciated.

don't know if this is any help but we flew BA in december in world traveller and looked at the first class seats as we walked around and apart from a little more room we couldn't see that it was worth all that money extra. and yes the stop via antigua was both ways well it was on our flights anyway!

Hi Kayla,
I have flown BA both club and economy to Tobago a few times. Club is nice but I can get by just as well in economy.

A lot depends on how large you are. You have a bit more room than the average charter seat in economy but it as a long flight and if you’re anything above average height the go for club you'll get a better nights sleep on the way back. I'm only about 5ft 4 and can sleep any ware so no problem.

My wife would give you a completely different answer but that has more to do with the amount of Champaign she was given last time flying club.

Hope this helps a little

We just came back from Tobago, travelling WTP. Although we only paid for an economy class ticket for some strange reason we got upgraded. I can tell you that the seats that they use in WTP are the "old style" business class seats which are a lot more comfortable than the normal economy class ones: my friend and I managed to sleep almost all the way through. So I think yes, go ahead and get it! But I think that Business Class is possibly not worth it, although that of course depends on your budget. The flight stops in Antigua both ways which is a bit of a pain.

Hi, I would just like to inform You that BA has a sale on for Club World seats for Tobago and they are even introducing the fully flat bed and totally reequipped cabins this summer. From what I believe the charge is (at its lowest) 664 pounds + tax single fare (double for return). More than economy, thats for sure, but for a fully flat bed, tons of champers and god knows what? We will be going to S.t Kitts and Nevis this summer but will fly via Antigua, so it´s the same flight. We do look fwd to experience this level of service.
