Airport Departure Tax

Can someone please confirm what currency is needed to pay the Airport Departure Tax in Crown Point International Airport.

I think last time we were there, we paid in US Dollars but I think it may have changed and is now TT Dollars - Please help?

As far I know, it has always been TT. If you could pay with US than the security was nice, the departure tax is 100TTD. At least it was still so last year.

We flew out of Piarco two weeks ago and they had a nifty ATM-style machine that allowed you to feed in a credit card or check card, then punch in the number of departure tax reciepts needed. Don't know if Crown Point has one of those yet - anyone know?

We came back in January and they still had the smoked glass window with a small hole about an inch across to speak through. The tax was 100tt cash only per person.
