Someone ever heard (or better been there) of "Sorry-Bay" - a small beach which can be reached only by boat ?

Hi Nick

Sorry! We haven't heard of Sorry Bay. Trouble is, that might be the local name for it, officially it could be called something else. Hope someone else can answer this question for you.

Hi Jill!

I read about "Sorry-Bay" in a german guide-book. The (nice ?)bay is located closely to castara and named "sorry" because you can't reach it by other means than boat. We didn't look for it during our stay - so one more good reason for another travel! :-)

I'm sure the beach you are thinking of is Paradise Beach about 10 minutes by boat from Castara. We were there in February and apart from our guide we were the only people there. This beautiful beach is only really accessible by boat, it would be about a one hour very rough walk from the road. We went with "King David" tours (based in Castara) but probably you could get a ride from one of the fishermen at Castara. Beautiful safe swimming.

Enjoy!

Sorry Bay is as said about 10 mins from Castara. If you fancy it ask for 'Duck' at the fishermans co-op on the beach and he will take you.
