Tobago Holiday Report

First of all I beg me pardon for my English,my original language is Russian .

Herewith I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your help. Your website helped us to make our holydays just wonderful.

So, our family (me(38 y.o.),my wife(35y.o.)and our daughter(7 y.o.) has visited Tobago since 30,April till 12,May2005. We arrived to this magnificient isle by British Airways from Moscow(Russia) via London.

For our accomodation we booked Eternity Villa from Abraham Tobago Realty. Brian Abraham met us in airport and escorted us to the villa.Location (Old Grange) of it is perfect forpeople who would like to relax in the silence. Villa is not large but quite enough for 5-6 persons, anyway we were only three an we did not use upper floor. Very informative description of Eternity Villa you can read on the above website. Everything said there is true. So many thanks to Brian. We were just happy to rent above villa. House, pool, garden were perfect for us.

The car has been rented from the company " 4A-RENTALS". I contacted Angela and Redman. They were very attentive and polite . Many thanks to them also. Car was Nissan Sanny with good A/C and automatic transmission. For twelve days I have paid USD $400(all insurance was included) .I picked up and returned the vehicle at the airport. I had no problem with this car.

Eating! It is not just a "word" for us. We like tasty food and good restaurants. So we had our breakfasts at home. Food we were buing at R.T.Morshead, Mt.Pleasant and Penny Savers Supermarket, Canaan . We prefferd second one, because range of the products is the same but prices in R.T.Morshead much more higher. Three times we made barbecue at our villa s garden. It was tiptop. Striped beef and tenderloin steaks from USA (may be not very healthy but very-very tasty). You can buy meat at the suprmarkets , but in our opinion better to do it at meat shop at Golden Grove.

Restaurants. We visited your favorite restaurants only. Unfortunately we had no enough time for all of them. We visited the following Seahorse Inn, La Tartaruga, Dillon's Seafood, Bonkers, La Terrazza, Ru-B-Lou's, Arnos Vale Waterwheel, Pelican Reef. Our opinion is: first four of them excellent and we would give ***** to Dillon s and Bonkers as well. La Terrazza and Ru-B-Lou s is very good. Unfortunately last two restaurants disappointed us. May be they have another values but our estimation concerns mainly the cuisine.

Once we were on the fishing with Stanley Dillon-owner of Dillon s restaurant. His boat very spacious and nice. We cought one Kingfish 6-7 Kilos. This fish has been cooked by Dillon s chief tremendously. Best regards and many thanks to Stanley for very good time.

We traveled a lot throughout Tobago and we just fallen in love with this paradise.

At the end of my letter I would like to thank MYTOBAGO.INFO for your tips and advises and all guys who helped me to make our holidays such excellent and unforgettable.

P.S. Special warning to Russians!!! OUR GSM PHONES DOES NOT HAVE ROAMING ON TOBAGO!!!

You can always purchase a local SIM to use in your phone, providing that it is un-locked, next time.
