Hiring a jeep in tobago

Hi !We are going to tobago for the first time in one week,we are staying at the grafton. can anyone reccomend the best place to hire a jeep that is not expensive?

First place to look is under "Tobago; Getting About; Car Rental" where you will find an awful lot of info about rental companies, rates etc etc. There are also reviews of several companies - and this forum also has a lot of detail.

When we were in Tobago in April, we hired a Suzuki Jimny from Sheppy for $50US per day. We only wanted it for 3 days and we thought that this was a good rate. The car supplied was in excellent condition and the whole rental was extremely easy - car delivered to us and collected from our hotel, paperwork completed in 5 minutes on delivery, no extra charge for 2 drivers. We actually arranged the car hire when we got to the island - but if you want to pre-book, there is a web-site and e-mail address for Sheppy.
