(The week before us was really warm and sunny - we have a reputation for attracting rain!) Kalina Cats and the Natural Mystic were out of action as during the "low season" they get overhauled. We were booked on a trip with the Coco Motion but it was called off due to heavy waves. (This was the day after Lili passed by) another guest did get to go on this a few days later and said it was great, visited some beautiful little island bays- great snorkelling. Our first visit to the bucco reef was called off because of a "soggy day" next day was bright and beautiful, pigeon point makes for great photo opportunities. However snorkelling limited as waves "far too big". Nylon pool made the trip worthwhile. The problem with the Coco reef is it's so nice it's difficult to drag yourself away! Great room, great view, great food, great location, great beach, fantastic staff. The lagoon more than made up for our trip to bucco reef, it's like swimming in an aquarium- I counted 30 different types of fish in one day! Amazing!! Andy played golf at Mt Irvine which he enjoyed (but said it was pretty hot- even with the earliest tee off time - 8.30) The plantation may have been a better bet. Very pretty and breezes whilst trying to carry off golf ball would keep you cooler! The masseur's are highly recommended. However don't go expecting a "concept" spa - it's more akin to your local gym. And a huge, big, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Steve for this site! We wouldn't have considered going to Tobago if I hadn't happened across this site. The people are REALLY friendly - did I mention that the taxi driver sang for us when taking us to the airport! I didn't mention the HOT sauce! We're addicted! However we did buy some at the airport. Sorry this is such a huge post - but it was a GREAT HOLIDAY. Thanks again Cas
