Butterfly watching

I love butterflies and read there are about 600 species.
What is the best time, maybe month and place to see them?

Has somebody see butterflies at all and where?
with 600 species ......

Hi,

when I was on Tobago (September), butterflies could be observed here and there, but not in large numbers.

So, if there is a time to observe butterflies, it is definitely not September (And if it is, you will be probably disappointed...)

Cause of the 600 species, there must be info about them.
