Sunday School

Post by D. Gould »

Can anyone tell me if Sunday School is still taking place on the beach at Buccoo? I read that the facilities are closed to allow for maintenance of the facilities. I am wondering if only bathing access is restricted, but Sunday School still goes on.

Thanks

Hi D

I'm not 'on-island' at the moment, so I'm not sure what's involved with the upgrading of the beach facilities. However, the beach 'facilities' are nothing but a changing room/toilets, so it will neither affect bathing on Buccoo Beach or Sunday School - except in so much as all those Stags and Caribs consumed during Sunday School are going to have to find a different outlet until the work is finished.

We will be on Tobago very soon (arriving 12/24) for two glorious weeks! We would love to check out sunday school--but since the only Sundays we'll be there are Christmas and New Year's Day . . . will school be "in session" either of those days? We'd be very sorry to miss out! :(

Hi Matt, the gamblng tables are a form of dice. There are six dice each with six different coloured faces,r,w,b,blue,y,g,the idea is that you bet on the colours. So when the die are released, the more of your colours that show the better your odds. It's good fun and the stakes are quite low.
