4x4 Tour

During our recent visit to Tobago we went on a 4x4 tour with Alibaba Tours. Their driver, Jackson, was great, a good laugh and we all had a great day going up tracks that you could never take a hire car. The vehicle used was an open top "Jeep" type with canvas roof. We kept the roof on to prevent sunburn, but had the sides rolled up. Travelling in this type of vehicle was fine at first but after 6 or 7 hours in the back, we knew we had been on a tour.

If I had to suggest a trip to anyone I would say split it into two, half a day touring the beaches, then another half day, later in your stay, in the hills and rainforest. As mentioned, Jackson was great, really knew about what he was showing us, and good fun as well.
