In view of your reply, may I please ask if it is your regular custom to visit the beach in your underpants? If so, perhaps we should issue a warning to those of a more delicate nature and perhaps see if we can arrange for the lifeguards to fly a special warning flag.

Tracey !!
Gnats ? ... Smalls ... ?
This is getting too deep ... you need that therapist !
As for Yorkshire Gnats ... take both hands and clap and you will take 10 out at a time !!
The Franchise? ... Seeing as you are talking about business ideas ... Here is a challenge ... how may I utilise my world famous underpants (while I have still got them!) to generate more funding for myTobago?
Don't forget ... I like to talk BIG !!
Cheers

Yes, all men do (like to talk big, I mean!)
However, back to decency and decorum - here's a couple of ideas:
How about a competition that asks for the 10 most inventive things one could do with a pair of your smalls? It could be themed, you know, like environmental protection (could make a wind farm from them perhaps - you did say BIG), or perhaps world peace (get all fighting nations to join in in making some kind of peace flag to wave at the London Olympics).
Or, another idea, the forum could ask members if they want you to keep your underwear on or off at Crown Point for the aforementioned whip round!! There could be two camps, the yeys and neys. The camp raising the most money wins!
What do you think? Is this a goer!!?? We really do have to capitalise on this outstanding interest before some other major news happens like someones found a solution to third world poverty and steals your limelight!!

I like parts (or should I say bits) of both your ideas Tracey.
If we have a competition (as we already have) then maybe everyone can enter with their ... excuse me but I am trying my hardest to avoid puns ... ideas and make a contribution (money).
A vote (at cost to the voter) would decide on the best idea with an award going to the best (decided by a panel of eminent and upstanding members ... [don't get any ideas !!] and any profits to myTobago.
Great idea ... should run short term periodical competitions like that.
Your second idea, combined with the wind farm thought, got me wondering if there is a Flag Pole at Coco Reef Resort ... could have some uses for that ...
Keep the ideas coming ...

To Jo B
TO JoB unfortunately without leaving his/her emailJo B wrote:We are going to be in Castara for our first visit to Tobago at the very end of September/beginning of October, Gisela. I am most delighted that you will be taking care of these nasty sandflies that I keep reading about.
Perhaps see you there for a Carib?

Just to let you know that I will keep all the sandflies in my area from September 26th to October 10th in Castara
Hope to see you for a Carib or two (or three?)
Cheers

Sorry, I don't make my email public as it gives away my full name! (I'm a she by the way.)
We'll be in Castara from 29/9 - 13/10, so I'm sure we'll manage a couple of Caribs at least.
I will try to email you, or send a private message from here to give you more details of what we're up to.
Cheers
