World Cup 2006

Post by Paul Tallet »

Congratulations to Trinidad & Tobago for beating Mexico and earning a play off with Bahrain to qualify for a place in the World Cup.

I hope they make it to Germany next year.

Funny how the nationality of the coach can have such a major influence.

. . . . .
Led by wily old Dutch tactician Leo Beenhakker, T&T will be hoping to become only the second Caribbean nation in history to reach a FIFA World Cup finals, after Jamaica made their debut at France 1998.

(From
http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/051013/1/4ycs.html )

Good luck T&T on Nov 12 & Nov 16 ! !

:?: :!: Steve, could we urgently ask for donations to 'buy' some help from Bahrein letting T&T make it?

What ARE you guys talking about?

Some sort of sport I imagine. I hope its not about brainless morons kicking around a bag of wind or I'll be falling asleep over my keyboard. :P

Will this make the much desired T & T football shirts any easier to acquire, I wonder? (And if so where?)

Funnily enough I sent four or five emails to various sources connected with football on T&T asking where readers could get the shirts and never got a single reply. I'll try to look them up and re-send them.

Steve

I sense you are referring to that boring game where brainless morons boot a pig's bladder around a field all day ?

C'mon the 'TnT' ... let's watch them blow Bahrain away ... get into England's Group ... maybe cause a few surprises !!!!

Does anyone know if the TnT v Bahrain game will be shown live on TV?

Bag of wind? Your underpants? I thought the two were synonymous, Paul.

Apparently these are the original regenerating pants - they certainky keep reappearing!

Or maybe these are the new revolutionary "self cleaning silver impregnated" pantswhich have been in the news recently.

I think we should be told!
