Travelling alone!

Post by Christine Pedder »

 Hi, I would like to also wish all Tobagophiles a Happy New Year!

I have a request, if anyone can help!!? I will be going back to Tobago in April to, hopefully, finalise my job offer. I will be travelling on my own and need single accomodation for upto 10 days. Does anyone have any info about places to stay that are suitable for the single female?

Any advice will be gratefully received...

Many thanks

Christine

Hi Christine and a happy new year!

As I travel to Tobago now around ten times as a woman alone I can tell you that it is the safest place on the earth. As long as you are able to tell the guys - who will start talking to you the moment they find out you are alone - to go their own way and that you are not interestet, they will leave you in peace. I only made good experiences in the last 6 years.

Good luck for you job (I must admint I'm really jealous...)

and a healthy, happy and lucky new year!
Cheers

Post by Gisela Grell »

Dear Christine,

a happy new year to you and your family as well.

Surely I will be in Tobago after September 06 because I'm addicted and come back every year. Twice if possible. I plan to go to Castara in late April and again in October. We can stay in touch over this side or you can eMail me if you want.

But let us all know about your experiances with the new job!

Cheers
