First time traveler to Casatra

Family of four with small kids going for first time to tobago. Wishing to know more about sightseeing possibilities in Casatra January this year.

Sailing, fishing, snorkeling/diving and also the rainforrest are what we are considering. We go in January 2006

Any specific someone can recomend we could contact in Casatra for these possibilities.

Should we book something on beforehand. We will only stay 5 days in Casatra then 5 days at Crown point area.

All information will be very usefull on this topic

While in Castara, you will be ideally suited for everything in northern Tobago, including the rainforest. I can best refer you to our Sightseeing article in the Out & About menu. As regards guides, I would suggest Alibaba Tours who are based in Castara.

Ok, thanks for the very fast reply!

Will it be a good idea for us to do some booking in advance, or not needed ?

Is aranged tours just for the four of us, or also larger groups - sorry if asking stupid, but I dont know how it works in the Casatra area.

Hi Henrik

Its always best to book in advance if you can, but its not vitally essential. If you go with a small operator like Alibaba, there's a pretty good chance it will only be yourself and your family. Very few of the small operators handle tours of more than about 6 people - they simply haven't got big enough vehicles apart from anything else.

or they can have bigger vehicles and only do that on demand for groups, because it is easier to suit a family when they go on their own.

for boattrips it is different. most of the time more fun when you have a small crowd (up to 10-12) and meet people from different countries.
we just head our first guests from poland and alaska... seems tobago is worth travelling far
