Hi Guys,

does anyone know where I can buy some Tobagonian paintings on the island. I have looked around Scarborough but have drawn a blank. I would be looking for original artwork or limited edition prints of the island.

All suggestions gratefully received!

many thanks

Hi Grant,

Try the Art Gallery in Lowlands - on the opposite side of the Highway from the Hilton and close to Kadds supermarket... you should see signs to it. They have a wide selection of original artwork and prints by local artists.

Hi Rachel,

many thanks - now you mention it I know where it is. We normally stay at the Hilton, but I didn't think to check it out :!:

Much obliged

Hi, I would like to mention the art of miss Jenny Hilton-Clarke.
She is in my opinion a very accomplished painter and I have bought 7 from her. She lives in a little shed 1 km above lánse fourmi on the now new road to Charlotteville. If You have driven past the egyptian obelisk you can see in a shrubbery to the left just reverse 100 yards!
She is also an amazing personality and extremely likeable!
My heart goes with her and I recommend her art "with all my heart".
But that is, of course, a matter of opinion. Say "Hi" from me when You see her. Sadly she was away to Isla Margarita for 6 weeks when I was there in december. Otherwise I would have bought a couple of paintings again.
