(Vintage) posters wanted

Post by Nick Lambert »

Hi everyone in 2006!

My first tobago research in 2006: To come more easyly through the cold winter I'm looking for some Tobago-Posters for our snow-white home walls. What I'm searching for is not the common Pigeon-Point & Beaches-Photgraphers-Style - my favorites are vintage or artist-like touristic-Posters. An example you will find under:

Any idea wher I could find one more?

not an easy task....
try the museum at fort king george
or the art gallery opposite the tobago plantations compound
or kimme's mueseum in mt irvine area
in the airport shop you will find old maps of tobago

good luck with the hunt...

Have you tried searching 'worldwide' on ebay ?

Type 'Tobago' into the search box and make sure you tick the 'worldwide' option. There are a lot of stamps, but other items as well.

Thanks Jill - didn't find a poster jet using this way - but found a nice vintage touristic prospect (12 pages) - waiting now for it's delivery... :D Nick
(And this leads me to another question, being posted soon...)
