Birdies Nest Guest House

My wife and I stayed in Birdies Nest Guest House in Black Rock during our week in Tobago in January 2006. The accomodation was clean and functional and the location could not be beat. It is located right on the beach and it was lovely to sit out in front of the house in the evening to watch the sunset over the sea.
We were very well received by the proprieters, Prince and his mother, Princess. Although we had only arranged to rent one of the main floor apartments, Prince insisted on giving us access to both suites since the other one was vacant at that time. He explained that in this way, we could enjoy the view from one suite and also benefit from the larger bed in the other. (I am quite tall.)
This accomodation experience was far different from the typical "resort' experience we have had on previous vacations and due to the location of Birdies Nest, we both enjoyed being able to view day to day life in Tobago.
I would recommend Birdies Nest to anyone looking for fairly priced, clean and well-situated self-catering accomodation in Tobago.
