Hi everboday,

Is there a possibillity to fly to Carriacou from Tobago and back? I have not found any flights by LIAT. How much would it be with a privat charter flight?

Carriacou
There are scheduled flights from Tobago to Grenada, and then SVG Air fly from Grenada to Carriacou, so maybe that is an option... check their website:

There is also a high speed catamaran from Grenada to Carriacou (the Osprey) - it leaves from the capital, St George's.
Carriacou is a beautiful island also - I'm sure it would be worth the travels.

Carriacou
I have heared that it is wonderful to make a sail-trip near Carriacou, Union-Island and the Tobago Cays. There is the possibillity to make a day-trip from Tobago (about 360 US$). Perhaps it is cheaper to travel to Union-Island or Carriacou without the help of tourism-service and take there directly a trip with a sailship. Then we have also the possibility to return the next day, not the same day...

Sail trip
Hi Moritz,
how long do you plan to go to the Caribbean? I don't think to leave Tobago for "a couple of days" to go on a sailtrip makes sense if you want to see Carriacou, Union Island and the Tobago Keys (great snorkeling!). I made a sailtrip from Grenada to Martinique in 2002 which tooks me 2 weeks and I still think it was too short (I saw Carriacou, UI and Tobago Keys and some more islands). But to stay on Tobago only a couple of days will also be much too short
In 2002 I stay one week in Tobago then two weeks on the sailboat and another week in Tobago again. If you need any further information you can eMail me if you want.
and whatever you do: enjoy
Cheers
