mytobago.info t-shits
Hi all and especially Steve,
a while ago we were talking about tshirt (or caps) with a "mytogabo" sign on it. Is there anything going on? Is there anything I can do to support?
Maybe another donation for creating this shirts or caps?
I'm sure a lot of mytobao.info readers are looking for something like that and will pay for it. I would order a couple of caps/shirts for my friends in Tobago and of course for myself.
Cheers

Hi Gisela
Its one of those little projects that are on the back burner. Mind you, I think shirts or caps would be more effective with "myTobago" on them, rather than "mytogabo".
Seriously, though, The problem is the cost of artwork and production. I would then have to stock them in a variety of colours and sizes and by the time you've added the cost of postage on top, it probably wouldn't be worth the time and effort. Having said that, I haven't written the possibilities off though - its just that there's more pressing things to do (like our 2006 reviews).
As regards donations, Gisela, please put your credit card back in your pocket. You have done MORE than enough as a contributor and supporter of the site.

Better make them T- Shirts (check the spelling on the topic header) too.
I think I'm guilty of a similar typo in a previous post about shorts and T- Shits.
That 'R' is just too close to the 'T' on a qwerty keyboard and gets left out all the time. But then I guess it wouldn't be qwerty if the 'R' was somewhere else - now I'm rambling. I need a holiday.

Hi Julia
Can't say I'm familiar with that company and will certainly look into it. However, I did do a bit of research some months ago and basically found that you either pay through the nose for low-volume production or to get someone else to hold and post the stock, or you suffer the initial outlay yourself.

Sorry for that, I'm always tooo quick and than this things happen
Steve, would you mind if I make my own t-shirt with "myTobago" on it for my next holidays (April/May 2006). I will not use your banner but try to let it look a bit like it.
I made some nice t-shirts for Anaconda (Anaconda Expedition) with a little snake on it and the name and cell number. There is a shop in my home town who did this for around 12 US$ (with t-shirt!) You only have to bring a file with the photo or sigh you wish on this shirt.
I don't think there has to be different colors of shirts (what about yellow? white?) and maybe two sizes like Xl and XXl.
But I do understand that you have much too much work with the site and don't have time for an additional shop or something like this. If I would have more time I would offer you to rule it for you.
Lets finish this topic which showes my disgrace of writing
