Our wonderful wedding

I and Pete (my new husband) recently had the most amazing wedding in Tobago... not only was the actual wedding day fantastic, but spending time with our closest friends and family on this beautiful island made the whole experience very special.

The wedding was arranged for us by Marie of Tobago Weddings and it was everything we could have hoped for - a beach ceremony at the stunning location of the Arnos Vale Hotel accompanied by a solo pan player on the beach, a wonderful meal of traditional food followed by a delicious black cake wedding cake and a steel pan band for dancing in the evening... all set to a back drop of palm trees and the sound of the sea... truely special

Marie was a fantastic organiser - very calm and very friendly - everything ran smoothly and there was nothing for us to stress over at all - it really was the ideal way to get married...

The ceremony was conducted by a wonderful minister: Brent Hart - it was a beautiful service which was very personel to us and those friends and family around us.

Maria the manager at the Arnos Vale also pulled out all the stops for us providing a wonderful venue for our evening celebrations down on the beach and organising a continuous flow of rum punch!!

All in all we could not recommend Tobago more highly as a place to get married - and we can't wait to return again and again for many anniverseries to come...
