Return Flight from Trinidad

Post by K Mehnert »

I do my first steps in organising my visit in October.
It might happen to have an early morning flight - about 9am- back home from
POS.
Is it advisable to take the shuttle in the morning without having a problem.
Or better stay the last night in Trinidad near the airport.

Any comments are most appreciated.
Thanks and greetings from Germany
Karl

I cross my fingers for the Team!!

Hello Karl

Welcome aboard! As a new user, I will even forgive you for making me take my eyes of the game - the first and only match I have watched in the series.

The shuttle service is not particularly reliable. You should be OK first thing in the morning, unless the airline staff were at a party the night before and don't bother coming to work, but for safety it might be best to overnight in Trinidad so that there's no risk of missing your flight because of delays.

Any recommendations on overnighting in Trinidad, in terms of lodging?

Hi Ron--
Look on the link that Steve mentioned. there, you'll find the information for Leo's B&B. He's a great guy. He & his wife, Cadalia, run a very clean & comfortable place. He charges $US55 a night for a twin room with ensuite bath and air conditioning, including a very good breakfast. For $US10, he'll pick you up at the airport and take you back the next morning (that's $10 per party, not per person!). He's extremely reliable. Our flight from the US was delayed by 3 hrs. He kept calling the airport until our flight landed, & he was there as promised.
