Advice for req'd for 2 wks in Tobago in Nov-accom & car

Hi, we are very close to booking 2 weeks in Tobago in November, our dilemma is whether to spend the first week in Sherwood apt's and the second week in Castara or vice versa?

In regards to car hire, are we best to hire for the full 2 weeks or just the one? We are envisaging lots of R&R in Castara and I would not want the car to be sat idle.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Welcome aboard!

Personally, I would do the Sherwood before Castara. I suspect this might be your first trip, from your questions, and if so, I imagine that you are going to want to be out and about, seeing and doing everything. That will be best done from the Sherwood, due to its lovely central location. Then, after you've done all the tours and visited all the southern beaches, you can head up to Castara for a final week of total chill before returning home.

I can't stand to be without transport. However, vehicle hire isn't cheap so based on what you say I think I would propably suggest you hire for 10 days and have the car collected from Castara. That will give you a couple of days when you first get there to look around the area.
