Money machine in Charlotteville

Post by Joanne Green »

I'm so glad that there's finally an ATM (I think you Brits call it a cash point) in Charlotteville. Do they keep it well-stocked with money? I'd hate to get up there & find that the piggy bank is empty!! I know it's closed on Sunday. I'd appreciate feedback from folks who have used it.

We will be in Castara in mid-February. Looking forward to seeing darling Ancle again & all his merry crew at the Naturalist!!

We didn't use the ATM in Charlotteville when we were there in September, but did you know there is also one in Roxborough now? It is on the RHS near the government buildings as you drive north towards Speyside. Very useful if you're staying in Castara or further north!

We were in Charlotteville for 3 weeks and the machine never worked! I think it gets emptied very quickly.

Much more luck with the Roxborough one

I guess it is the same like with the gas station in charlotteville... you must figure out when the truck is coming to deliver... got stranded in charlotteville empty once because roxborough was empty and told me that charlotteville had gas.
the same moment our guide jackson managed to bring me a spare jug on a tour, the truck came down the hill

some years ago I was waiting in a bank in jamaica for an hour. the moment we started joking that they might wait for some money, the truck pulled up and they brought in the cash...

thats the caribbean.....
