Ferry schedules for Feb, Mar, April now on the Net

Post by Clyde Alleyne »

The Port Authority has just posted their POS-Scarborough and Scarborough-POS sailing schedules on their web site for February, March, and April. So you can plan your schedule if you were planning to travel between Tobago and Trinidad via the ferry. Unfortunately, they have not gotten to the point yet where you can BUY a ticket well in advance, as they only release tickets for sale a few weeks in advance of sailing date. Nor can you book online either. :(

if you travel with a vehicle they sometimes only sell it in the same week you are travelling, a real pain if you want to go on a tuesday and can only get a ticket from sunday on...;o)
would you mind posting the webisite again?

Here's the web site. http://www.patnt.com/ferry_schedule.shtml
The address is also mentioned in the "Tobago/Getting to Tobago/Ferry" section of this forum.

At least the good news for the time being is that with two fast ferries going, the chances of getting a car on at the last minute are better than they used to be. Also, the fast ferries now sail twice each way on weekends (in February at any rate). Previously, there was only one sailing each way on a weekend - a major bummer if you needed to get your car back to Trinidad on a Sunday due to the limited capacity.
