Recommendation needed

Post by Anessa M »

My husband and i will be spending our anniversary in Tobago later this year and Im looking for a good restaurant for dinner - something cozy and romantic, with good service and cuisine (we're not really fans of local food, though). Can anyone give me a good recommendation? Thanks

Hi Anessa,

you will be spoilt for choice. The Shirvan Watermill, Indigo and La Terazza are all great.

Our personal favourites are the Seahorse- here is the web site:
http://www.seahorseinntobago.com, and the Coral reef at the Hilton

There are lots of others and I am sure you will be given lots of advice.

Enjoy Tobago :D

Anessa,Iwould not totally agree with Grant.First where are you staying?
Somwhere good and central is the Motmot restaurant at Old Grange(5 min from Bucoo junction),good 'international'(hate that term)menu from steaks, cutlets to cajun. Then there's Indigo at Pleasant Prospest..pricy but vfm. Hope this is alittle help,
David :)

We'll be staying at cocoreef, i know there are restaurants on the compound but i haven't heard good reviews about them from friends who've stayed there. Plus, i'm looking for something more intimate, not a large formal restaurant.

Hi,

Maybe you could talk to the Head Chef at Coco Reef, there may be a possibility of having a meal on the beach? We have seen people dining on the beach at Rex Turtle Beach and it looked nice with the candles around - although I would suggest somewhere a bit more secluded :?
