where to exchange money?

Hello. We are coming from US.

How many places accept US money?
We will first be arriving/staying Store Bay area - do food vendors, shops accept US cash?
We will not have a rental car til up north further in the trip.
So if we need TT money for this Store Bay/Crown Point area, can we exchange it when we arrive in Tobago airport?

hi there!

you can chenge money on the airport, there is a small bank. in the crownpoint area you have a few branches of different banks and blue machines. if you bring a credit card with a pin you'll get tt cash easy. most shops take us (the course in the bank is 1us/6tt, in some shops it might be 1/5) and many places take cards already (american express is a problem sometimes...).
